NTPC Green Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary -- NTPC Renewable Energy has commenced commercial operation of the second part capacity of 32.8 MW out of 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project at Khavda, Gujarat under 450 MW Hybrid Tranche-V Project.
Earlier, NTPC Renewable Energy had commenced commercial operation of first part capacity of 142.2 MW of aforesaid Solar Energy Project on June 28, 2025.
NTPC Green Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, a ‘Maharatna’ central public sector enterprise. The company is mainly engaged in the activity of developing, building, owning, operating and maintaining utility scale grid connected solar and wind power projects (through O&M operations and in-house engineering).
