Axis Bank reports 3% decline in Q1 consolidated net profit

Axis Bank has reported result for first quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1FY26).

The bank has reported 3.79% decline in its net profit at Rs 5,806.14 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 6,034.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 6.91% at Rs 38,321.57 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 35,844.22 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 2.94% decline in net profit at Rs 6,260.17 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 6,450.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 6.89% at Rs 40,401 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 37,795.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
