NTPC Green Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary -- NTPC Renewable Energy has commenced commercial operations for the third part capacity of 6 MW out of 150 MW Daya par wind energy project at Dayapar, Gujarat, under 450 MW Hybrid Project, with effective from July 31, 2025.
Earlier, the company had commenced commercial operation for the first part capacity of 50 MW and second part capacity of 90 MW with effective from November 04, 2023 and April 09, 2025, respectively.
NTPC Green Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, a ‘Maharatna’ central public sector enterprise. The company is mainly engaged in the activity of developing, building, owning, operating and maintaining utility scale grid connected solar and wind power projects (through O&M operations and in-house engineering).
