MOIL surges on achieving 11.4% rise in manganese ore production in July 2025

MOIL is currently trading at Rs 342.80, up by 6.95 points or 2.07% from its previous closing of Rs 335.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 338.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs 345.00 and Rs 337.00 respectively. So far 8708 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 479.65 on 02-Aug-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 280.60 on 21-Nov-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 376.75 and Rs 332.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 6938.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.80% and 22.52% respectively.

MOIL has achieved manganese ore production of 1.45 lakh tonnes in July 2025, marking an impressive growth of 11.4% over the corresponding period last year (CPLY), despite adverse weather conditions.

Despite heavy rainfall, MOIL demonstrated strong operational momentum during April- July 2025, with production at 6.47 lakh tonnes (7.8% growth year-on-year), sales of 5.01 lakh tonnes (10.7% higher than CPLY), and exploratory drilling of 43,215 meters (up 11.4% over CPLY).

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
