BEML starts supplying coaches to Jaipur Metro

BEML has started supplying coaches to Jaipur Metro and has supplied metro cars to Jaipur Metro Rail Project Phase-IA. The company has supplied the same against the order for Rs 318 crore for manufacture, supply, testing and commissioning of 10 train sets of 4-car each. The first trail run of Jaipur Metro Rail Car was started on September 18, 2013.

BEML (formerly Bharat Earth Movers) was established for undertaking manufacture of Rail Coaches & Spare Parts and Mining Equipment at its Bangalore Complex.
