Prism Cement surges on possibility of receiving GBP 12.5 million from LIPL

Prism Cement is currently trading at Rs. 29.45, up by 0.70 points or 2.43 % from its previous closing of Rs. 28.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 29.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.20 and Rs. 29.15 respectively. So far 14289 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 60.00 on 07-Nov-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 22.85 on 07-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 31.30 and Rs. 26.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1477.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.87% while institutions and non-institutions held 3.67% and 21.45% respectively.

Prism Cement shall receive an amount of GBP 12.5 million as dividend on the equity shares held by it in its wholly-owned foreign subsidiary - Lifestyle Investments (LIPL). LIPL has declared the dividend on equity shares.
