Petron Engineering trades jubilantly on bagging contract worth Rs 55.00 crore

Petron Engineering Construction is currently trading at Rs. 46.50, up by 3.10 points or 7.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 43.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 45.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.50 and Rs. 44.35 respectively. So far 2651 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 177.50 on 29-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 33.15 on 08-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 47.30 and Rs. 41.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9,258 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.47% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.76% and 26.77% respectively.

Petron Engineering Construction has received advice of contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation, (BPCL) Ernakulam, Dist. Kerala for Heater Package for VGO-HDT Unit for Integrated Refinery Expansion Project of its Kochi Refinery for an approximately contract value of Rs 55.00 crore.

Petron Engineering Construction has a valuable and rich experience in the fields of refinery (reformers and crackers), power and cement plants, petrochemical and fertilizer plants; insulation and refractory, fabrication works along with electrical and instrumentation works.
