Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, has commissioned the 33/11kV grid substation at Naraina, Delhi. The newly commissioned grid substation will benefit over 80,000 existing and new Tata Power Delhi Distribution’s customers in Naraina Industrial Area and Inderpuri and its adjoining areas. The grid substation has been built at a total cost of Rs 9 crore.
The 33/11kV Naraina grid substation is an unmanned grid and will be remote operated from Tata Power Delhi Distribution’s state-of- the- art Supervisory Controlled and Data Acquisition Center. This new grid substation will further improve the reliability of power supply and facilitate the load growth in the above-mentioned areas. Earlier, these areas were primarily fed from the Inderpuri grid.
