Maruti Suzuki India has reported 2.67% rise in total sales (Domestic + Export) to 1,89,665 units in September 2025 as compared to sales of 1,84,727 units in September 2024. However, total domestic passenger vehicle sales were at 1,32,820 units compared to 1,44,962 units in the same month last year, down 8.38%. Out of which, the sales of compact cars of the company, including Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR, rose 10.59% to 66,882 units in September 2025 from 60,480 units in September 2024. The sales of mini-segment cars - Alto and S-Presso declined by 30.44% to 7,208 units in September 2025 as compared to 10,363 units in the same month last year.
Further, utility vehicles - Grand Vitara, Fronx, Invicto, Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, Jimny and Victoris sales slumped 20.88% to 48,695 units in September 2025 as compared to 61,549 units in the same month a year ago. Besides, sales of Eeco vans stood at 10,035 units in September 2025 against 11,908 units in September 2024, a drop of 15.73%. Moreover, light commercial vehicle - Super Carry sales declined 6.71% to 2,891 units in September 2025 from 3,099 units in the same month last year.
The company’s exports in September 2025 stood at 42,204 units as compared to 27,728 units in September 2024, a registering a growth of 52.21%.
