Refex Renewables & Infrastructure’s step-down subsidiary -- Spectrum Renewable Energy (SREPL) in consortium with Ourland Engineering Works (OEWPL) has secured a tender worth Rs 28 crore from Tiruchirappalli City Corporation. The tender is for establishment of 100 TPD Municipal Solid Waste based Bio-CNG plant in Tiruchirappalli under PPP mode on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) Basis for a period of 20 years.
The project shall be fully commissioned within 19 months. SREPL holds 49% stake in the consortium while rest is held by OEWPL. Further, a special purpose vehicle shall be incorporated which will be responsible for designing, engineering, financing, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of the project.
