Hero MotoCorp gains on registering 15.78% rise in September sales

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs 2040.15, up by 42.45 points or 2.12% from its previous closing of Rs 1997.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 2009.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 2048.00 and Rs. 2009.00 respectively. So far 7230 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 2127.70 on 11-Sep-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 1434.05 on 15-Apr-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 2074.00 and Rs 1971.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 40678.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.21% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.11% and 8.68% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp, country’s largest two-wheeler maker, has registered 15.78% rise in its total sales at 4,68,670 units for September 2013 as compared to 4,04,787 units sold in the same month previous year.

The company’s 16% growth in despatch sales in September has come on the back of a consistent 7% growth in its retail sales this year.
