Hero MotoCorp hikes product prices by upto Rs 1500 across models

Country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has hiked prices of its products by up to Rs 1,500 across models. The company in order to offset the impact of rising input costs and rupee depreciation has hiked its product prices. Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto too has announced its intent to hike motorcycle prices in the range of Rs 500-Rs 5,000 in the next few days.

Hero MotoCorp is the World's single largest two-wheeler motorcycle company. Honda Motor Company of Japan and the Hero Group entered a joint venture to setup Hero Honda Motors in 1984. Hero Honda Motors changed its name to Hero MotoCorp following the exit of its erstwhile Japanese promoter, Honda, from the company.
