Sharda Motor Industries has signed a Technology Licence Agreement (TLA) with Donghee Industries Co., Republic of Korea, for Advanced suspension products in India. Under the agreement, Donghee will transfer design drawings, process know-how and validation protocols to the company. The company will locally produce Control arms, Torsion beams and Sub-frames for Indian and Global OEM platforms. The agreement marks the strengthening of the company’s Suspension Portfolio, including Lightweight Engineering, Structural Integrity, and next-generation manufacturing processes.
Donghee brings Global technology and vast product experience across geographies and customers, including Global giants like Hyundai, Kia, VW, and Stellantis. The company brings India-wide manufacturing scale, deep domestic OEM relationships and a strong localisation focus, and together aim to deliver world-class suspension solutions tailored for Indian driving conditions.
