NLC India commissions second phase of 300 MW Solar Power Project

NLC India has successfully commissioned the second phase of the 300 MW Solar Power Project, with a capacity of 106 MW and declared commercially operational at Barsingsar, District Bikaner, Rajasthan. The Commissioning Certificate for the same has been received from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation on November 2, 2025.

The first part capacity of 52.83 MW has already been declared on commercial operation with effect from August 26, 2025. The total capacity declared on commercial operation is 158.83 MW out of 300 MW.

NLC India is a Navratna Government of India Enterprise, under the administrative control of Ministry of Coal. The company is engaged in the business of mining of Lignite, Coal and generation of power by using lignite as well as Renewable Energy Sources and consultancy.
