SpiceJet gains on inducting five additional aircraft on damp lease

SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs 35.78, up by 0.15 points or 0.42% from its previous closing of Rs 35.63 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 35.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs 35.94 and Rs 35.05 respectively. So far 985757 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 63.40 on 28-Nov-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 28.13 on 08-Oct-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 37.95 and Rs 35.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 5042.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.30% and 53.24% respectively.

SpiceJet has inducted five additional aircraft on damp lease, bringing the total number of new fleet additions to ten. This includes the successful ungrounding and reactivation of a Boeing 737 MAX, alongside three Boeing 737s and an Airbus A340 inducted earlier.

All five newly added aircraft have commenced commercial operations, enhancing connectivity across key domestic and international routes amid surging passenger demand. The airline is eyeing to more than double its operational fleet and triple its available seat kilometres (ASKM) by the end of November 2025.

SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
