Orient Electric has informed that the Company has received the Rectification Order on November 26, 2025, issued by Assistant Commissioner (ST) (FAC), Egmore Assessment Circle, Chennai, Tamil Nadu under Section 161 of the Tamil Nadu GST Act, 2017 (‘the TNGST Act’) and Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 (‘the CGST Act’), reducing the original demand from ?51,59,48,406/- to ?31,904, plus applicable interest.
