TVS Motor Company unveils ‘TVS Jupiter’ in Tamil Nadu

TVS Motor Company has launched its new vehicle - TVS Jupiter -- in Madurai district in state of Tamil Nadu in order to capture the market in the Male Segment. The vehicle is manufactured at the company’s Hosur unit and is priced at Rs 50,220 in Tamil Nadu.

The company is currently selling 35,000 scooters per month and with the introduction of the TVS Jupiter it expects to sell 50,000 scooters in a month.

The company has registered 16% increase in total sales in September 2013 which stood at 197,409 units as against 170,097 units in the same month last year.
