Gaja Alternative Asset Management, which operates under the brand Gaja Capital, has filed updated draft papers with markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise a little over Rs 656 crore through an initial public offering (IPO). The company's maiden public offering comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 549.2 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 107 crore by promoters and shareholders.
Funds raised through fresh issues would be utilised for payment of debt, seed new funds and general corporate purposes. JM Financial and IIFL Capital Services are the book running lead managers to the issue. Gaja Capital filed draft papers in June 2025 with Sebi for an IPO through a confidential pre-filing route and had received the market regulator's approval in October. Following this, the company filed an updated DRHP before filing an RHP.
