Kalpataru Power soars on bagging orders worth Rs 620 crore

Kalpataru Power is currently trading at Rs. 66.60, up by 3.05 points or 4.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 63.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 66.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 68.30 and Rs. 63.20 respectively. So far 76,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 105.40 on 10-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.00 on 29-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 64.45 and Rs. 57.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,025 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.04% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.13% and 7.83% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power & infrastructure contracting sector has secured new orders worth over Rs. 620 crore. Of which the major orders are Supply and installation of 171 kms, 400 KV D/C transmission line worth Rs 463 crore from Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation and installation of 160 Kms cross-country LPG pipeline worth Rs 94 crore from HPCL.

Kalpataru Power Transmission is one of the largest and fastest growing specialized EPC companies in India engaged in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipeline, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing and logistics business with a strong international presence in power transmission and distribution.
