Tata Motors’ global arm JLR registers 17% increase in September sales

Tata Motors’ subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover has registered 17% jump in its global sales in September this year at 43181 units. Of the total, Jaguar sold 8,462 units, up 35% reflecting strong demand for all XF derivatives, while Land Rover sold 34,719 units, up 13%.

Geographically, the company’s sales in the China Region rose 46%, North America up 6%, UK up 11%, Asia Pacific up 29% and other overseas markets higher 15%.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
