NLC India has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) for setting up 110 MW (AC) Grid Connected Solar PV Power Projects in Uttar Pradesh. The project will be developed under the Captive Mode. The company will supply the power generated from the project to NCRTC for a period of 25 years under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The scheduled commencement of supply is within 24 months from the PPA's effective date.
NLC India is a Navratna Government of India Enterprise, under the administrative control of Ministry of Coal. The company is engaged in the business of mining of Lignite, Coal and generation of power by using lignite as well as Renewable Energy Sources and consultancy.
