Tata Motors plans to launch eight models of its Prima range this year

Tata Motors is planning to launch eight more models of its Prima (World Truck) range during the year. The company is also set to launch its two tipper models next month including 31 and 25 tonne tippers for construction and mining activities while, a 31 tonne tipper for deep mining is expected in July.

Recently, the company had launched a customer loyalty programme -- Tata Delight -- which offers a host of facilities for commercial vehicle-owners both existing and new. The loyalty programme offers a host of distinctive facilities across all Tata Motors dealerships, sales outlets and authorized service stations.

Tata Motors’ April sales witnessed a growth of 13% at 64,383 units as compared to 57,199 vehicles sold in April 2010. Domestic sales of the company for reporting month stood at 60,125 units, up 11% over 54,062 units in the year ago period.
