In furtherance to the disclosure dated February 26, 2025, submitted by the Company, with respect to the demand order dated February 25, 2025, of INR 2,57,90,498 (Indian Rupees Two Crore Fifty Seven Lakh Ninety Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety Eight Only) along with penalty of 10% on the said amount and applicable interest, issued by the Additional Commissioner, GST & Central Excise, Rourkela, Odisha, u/s 73(9) CGST/OGST Act 2017 r.w.s.20(xxi/xxv) of the IGST Act, 2017, against which the Company had filed an appeal before the Commissioner (Appeals) GST, CX & Customs, Bhubaneswar, Odisha; Rathi Steel & Power has informed that the said appeal has been allowed and accordingly the said Appellate Authority vide its order dated January 6, 2026, dropped the said demand along with the mentioned penalty and interest. SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/0155 dated November 11, 2024, pertaining to the above Order are provided in Annexure A.
