Power Mech Project’s wholly owned subsidiary -- PM Green has secured large-scale order worth Rs 3,126 crore (excluding GST) (Including Greenshoe option) from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) for setting up of a 250 MW / 1,000 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Goaltore, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, under the Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, along with an additional Greenshoe option of 250 MW / 1,000 MWh at the Durgapur Project (DPL) campus, Durgapur, West Bengal.
The project is scheduled to commission in 18 Months from the date of signing of Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA). The operation and maintenance period of project will be 180 months from scheduled commissioning date.
