DOMS Industries has secured its Board’s approval to form a 50:50 Joint Venture Company (JVC) in India with Seven SpA, a F.I.L.A. - Fabbrica Italiana Lapis Ed Affini S.p.A., Group Company to focus on backpacks, pencil cases and bags. By leveraging the collective industry and manufacturing capabilities of the company and Seven, the JVC will supply products for the benefit of the F.I.L.A. Group globally as well as support in the development of a differentiated range of products for the Indian market.
The initial investment in the JVC shall be up to Rs 15 crore with contribution from both the joint venture partners proportional to their shareholding in the JVC. The JVC formation and execution of the joint venture agreement are targeted for completion by June 30, 2026.
DOMS Industries designs, develops, manufactures, and sells a wide range of stationery and art products, primarily under its flagship brand ‘DOMS’.
