M&M’s overall auto sales rise 24% in January

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 24% rise in its overall auto sales (including SUVs, LCVs (<3.5T), LCV < 2T, 3-wheelers, and export volumes) at 1,04,309 units for the month of January 2026 as compared to 84,265 units in the same month last year. Of the total, the company has posted 25% increase in domestic passenger vehicles sales at 63,510 units in January 2026, as compared to 50,659 units of passenger vehicles in January 2025. 

Domestic sales of three-wheelers, including electric 3Ws, were at 9,566 units in January 2026, as compared to 7,452 units in January 2025, a growth of 28%. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles (LCV 2 T - 3.5 T) grew 23% at 23,647 vehicles against 19,209 vehicles in January 2025. Further, the company’s domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles (LCV < 2T) increased 13% to 4,009 units in January 2026 as compared to 3,541 units in January 2025. Moreover, the exports of the company increased 5% to 3,577 units in January 2026 as compared to 3,404 units in January 2025.
