Velan Hotels has informed that the Company has received on 31-01-2026 an Order dated 29th January 2026 received from the Assitant Commissioner (CT), Tirupur Central -1 Assessment Circle, Tirupur regarding payment of Entry Tax on Audi Car imported during the month of August 2006 along with the Penalty and Interest thereon from the due date from 20/09/2006 till the date of the above order. The Company is evaluating the next steps based on detailed review of the order and exploring all possible options to contest the demand including filing an appeal against the same. The disclosure as required under Regulation 30 of Listing Regulations read with SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFDPoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated 13th July, 2023, is enclosed as Annexure I.
