Epic Energy has entered into a collaboration with REFNIC, a brand operated by Zetrance Technology, for the development of Epic’s lithium-ion battery recycling and second-life battery initiatives through its Special Purpose Vehicle, Swachchha Urja Nirman LLP (SUN LLP).
This collaboration represents an important project milestone and brings REFNIC onboard as the technical partner for the design, engineering, integration, installation, and commissioning of the Lithium-ion battery shredding facility, and a second-life battery assembly plant with an installed processing capacity of around 10 MWh per month.
The proposed facilities are intended to support the responsible recycling, repurposing, and value recovery of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, in alignment with Epic Energy’s long-term strategy focused on sustainable energy systems and circular-economy solutions.
Epic Energy has been in the business of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Services.
