DLF has awarded Rs 1,337 crore order to Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for construction of its luxury residential project in Gurgaon. India’s largest realty firm is developing a high-end housing project -- The Crest -- in Gurgaon, which comprise 765 units, of that about 250 flats have already been launched and sold. The company has appointed construction major L&T Construction as general contractor to build the luxury residential development.
L&T’s scope of work includes construction, civil, structural, finishes, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), external services, landscaping and all ancillary works associated with The Crest.
DLF, founded by billionaire Kushal Pal Singh, has a land bank of 10,255 acres, the biggest in the real estate sector. At its peak, its debt pile stood at Rs 23,000 crore.
