NTPC Green Energy’s JV - ONGC NTPC Green’s step-down subsidiary -- Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power has started commercial operation of the part capacity of 158.4 MW out of 250 MW Solar PV Project located in Andhra Pradesh from February 14, 2026. Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power is a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green.
The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Group is 8992.68 MW. With the addition of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group has increase to 9151.08 MW.
NTPC Green Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, a ‘Maharatna’ central public sector enterprise. The company is mainly engaged in the activity of developing, building, owning, operating and maintaining utility scale grid connected solar and wind power projects (through O&M operations and in-house engineering).
