GTN Industries rises on plan of spending over Rs 20 crore

GTN Industries is currently trading at Rs 10.50, up by 0.05 points or 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs 10.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 11.01 and has touched a high and low of Rs 11.01 and Rs 10.50 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 32.60 on 14-Jan-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 9.16 on 21-Nov-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 13.00 and Rs 9.16 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 18.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.64% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.52% and 24.84% respectively.

GTN Industries, an integrated yarns, fabrics and apparels group, is likely to spend over Rs 20 crore in its mercerized cotton garment facilities this fiscal to expand base. The overall investment in the mercerized cotton garment facilities is about Rs 350 crore.

The company recently launched a new brand ‘Cotstyle Apparels’. It has integrated its previous brand ‘Cotstyle’ into the new one in a bid to strengthen its presence in the branded apparels market. It is expecting its overall group turnover to touch Rs 700 crore in FY 12 as against Rs 675 crore last year.

GTN Industries is having vertically integrated manufacturing set-up to produce fine and superfine cotton yarns, grey knitted fabrics, gassed fabrics, organic fabrics, mercerized fabrics and life style garments. Its Double Mercerized Cotton offers a unique One Stop Shop to those looking for an operationally strong and reliable source.
