Maruti Suzuki India reports 12% rise in total sales in February

Maruti Suzuki India has reported an 11.64% rise in total sales (Domestic + Export) to 2,13,995 units in February 2026 as compared to sales of 199,400 units in February 2025. Total domestic vehicle sales grew marginally at 1,74,840 units in February 2026 compared to 1,74,379 units in the same month last year. 

Within this, sales of mini-segment cars - Alto and S-Presso - rose marginally to 10,238 units in February 2026, compared with 10,226 units in the same month last year. However, sales of the company’s compact cars- including Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR - declined 8.99% to 66,386 units in February 2026, from 72,942 units in February 2025.

Further, sales of utility vehicles - Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris, and XL6 - increased 11.88% to 72,756 units in February 2026, from 65,033 units a year ago. Meanwhile, Eeco van sales stood at 11,620 units in February 2026, compared with 11,493 units in February 2025, marking a marginal rise of 1.11%. 

In addition, sales of the light commercial vehicle Super Carry increased 15.50% to 3,130 units in February 2026 from 2,710 units in the same month last year. Further, the company’s exports in February 2026 stood at 39,155 units, compared with 25,021 units in February 2025, registering a sharp jump of 56.49%.
