Ceat has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The company has reported over 27 fold jump in its net profit at Rs 75.95 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 2.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has increased by 8.93% at Rs 1281.02 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1176.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
On the consolidated basis, the group has registered over 20 fold jump in net profit from ordinary activities after taxes at Rs 76.55 crore as compared to Rs 3.81 crore in the same quarter previous year. Total income from operation of the group rose 9.02% to Rs 1335.34 crore for quarter under review as against Rs 1224.86 crore in corresponding quarter previous year.
