Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills rises on resuming production at its Denim division

Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills is currently trading at Rs. 45.95, up by 0.05 points or 0.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 45.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 46.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.10 and Rs. 44.00 respectively. So far 4066 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 89.40 on 09-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 40.40 on 21-Oct-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 54.00 and Rs. 42.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 66.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.22% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.07% and 34.70% respectively.

Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills has restored the normal production operations in the company’s Denim division near Ramtek, Nagpur District in state of Maharashtra from October 28, 2013 consequent on the resolution of the labour disputes.

Suryalakshmi's denim plant at Ramtek near Nagpur, Maharashtra is equipped with the state of the art machines to produce Rope dyed denim. The plant has a capacity to produce 30 million meters of denim per annum.
