Brigade enterprises surges on reporting 31% rise in Q2 net profit

Brigade enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 57.25, up by 0.60 points or 1.06 % from its previous closing of Rs. 56.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 57.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 58.75 and Rs. 56.75 respectively. So far 19,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 112.60 on 19-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 45.10 on 07-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 60.35 and Rs. 54.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 642 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.67% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.91% and 36.42% respectively.

The company has reported 31.35% rise in its net profit at Rs 19.02 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 14.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has decreased by 7.05% at Rs 171.56 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 184.58 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
