Power Grid Corporation reports 10% rise in Q4FY26 consolidated net profit

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2026.

The company has reported 5.00% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,552.80 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q4FY26) as compared to Rs 4,336.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 4.23% at Rs 11,954.70 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 12,482.39 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 9.74% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,546.33 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 4,142.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 4.93% at Rs 11,970.69 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 12,590.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, the company has reported 3.70% rise in its net profit at Rs 15,921.00 crore as compared to Rs 15,353.57 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 1.45% at Rs 46,995.88 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 46325.32 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 2.62% rise in its net profit at Rs 15,927.95 crore as compared to Rs 15,521.44 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased marginally at Rs 47,684.43 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 47,459.38 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.
