Alps Industries has received an approval to close down the operations of Kashipur and Jaspur units taken on lease from SIDCUL, with immediate effect. The board of directors at its meeting held on November 11, 2013 has approved for the same.

Alps Industries commenced operations with installation of handlooms for manufacturing various types of fabrics and made-ups. It currently operates 10 manufacturing units which are located in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Pondicherry.
