Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to establish Inter-State Transmission System for the project namely Transmission system for proposed Green Hydrogen / Green Ammonia projects in Kakinada area (Phase-I) on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The project comprises establishment of a new 765/400kV GIS Sub-station along with STATCOM and 765kV transmission line works in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received by the company on June 12, 2026.
