Sona BLW Precision Forgings (Sona Comstar) has received approval for capital expenditure (Capex) of Rs 62.6 crore towards manufacturing of components and systems for the robotics industry, including advanced robotics. The company's Board of Directors, at its meeting held on June 16, 2026, has approved the same based on the recommendation of the Capex Committee.
Sona BLW Precision Forgings is engaged in the manufacturing of precision forged bevel gears and differential case assemblies, conventional and micro-hybrid starter motors, EV traction motors etc., for automotive and other applications.
