Vedanta Power has reported 38% growth in its power sales at 5225 million units in Q1FY27 as compared to 3784 million units in Q1FY26. The company has recorded power sales of 2723 million units from Talwandi Sabo Thermal Plant in Q1FY27, while the Plant Availability Factor stood at 86%. Further, Jharsuguda Thermal Plant reported 1% rise in power sales at 687 million units in Q1FY27 as compared to 678 million units in Q1FY26. Jharsuguda Thermal Plant’s Plant Availability Factor stood at 93% in Q1FY27.
Meenakshi Energy’s power sales jumped over three-fold to 1350 million units in Q1FY27 as compared to 391 million units in Q1FY26.
