MOIL reports marginal rise in Q1FY27 manganese ore production

MOIL has reported production of manganese ore of 5.08 lakh metric tonnes (MT) (Provisional) during the April-June 2026 quarter (Q1FY27), compared to 5.02 lakh MT in the corresponding period last year, registering a 1.20% growth.

The company's sales of manganese ore stood at 3.68 lakh MT (Provisional) in Q1FY27, up from 3.56 lakh MT in the April-June 2025 quarter, registering a 3.47% growth.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
