Punjab & Sind Bank gets IFSCA licence to setup IFSC Banking unit at GIFT IFSC

Punjab & Sind Bank has received a licence from the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) to setup an IFSC Banking Unit as branch of the Bank at GIFT IFSC. Earlier, the Reserve Bank of India had permitted the Bank for setting up IFSC Banking Unit at GIFT City Gandhinagar. 

Punjab & Sind Bank’s primary business is taking deposits, and making advances and investments, and is principally divided into retail banking, corporate banking, priority sector banking, treasury operations and other banking services such as agency functions for insurance, distribution of mutual funds and pension and tax collection services.
