REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary in name of Nawada Durgapur Power Transmission on July 10, 2026. Nawada Durgapur Power Transmission has been incorporated for ERES-47: Nawada - Durgapur - Jeerat (New) 76SkV corridor.

REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
