Punjab & Sind Bank has reported its results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27).
The bank has reported a 23.16% rise in its net profit at Rs 331.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, as compared to Rs 269.16 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income increased by 4.92% to Rs 3,545.72 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 3,379.39 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Punjab & Sind Bank’s primary business is taking deposits, and making advances and investments, and is principally divided into retail banking, corporate banking, priority sector banking, treasury operations and other banking services such as agency functions for insurance, distribution of mutual funds and pension and tax collection services.
