REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary in name of Dharashiv Power Transmission, on July 21, 2026. Dharashiv Power Transmission has been incorporated for establishment of 400 kV GIS Solapur/Paranda Switching Station (Dist. - Dharashiv).

REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
