Indian Hotels Company rises on signing Ginger hotel in Maharashtra

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 746.50, up by 8.65 points or 1.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 737.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 743.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 750.35 and Rs. 734.05 respectively. So far 289047 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 811.90 on 21-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 565.25 on 02-Apr-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 750.35 and Rs. 713.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 106351.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.29% and 15.59% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a Ginger in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, a conversion of a standalone hotel, with plans to expand its inventory to 50 keys. The 50-key Ginger Sindhudurg will feature an all-day dining restaurant and a bar. Guests can explore the swimming pool and fully equipped gym. The hotel will also offer dedicated meeting rooms and a banquet hall, making it suitable for corporate gatherings, conferences and social celebrations.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 66 hotels in Maharashtra, including 34 under development.
