Simbhaoli Sugars is unable to commence the operations of all of its sugar mills until and unless a fair, reasonable and viable sugarcane price is declared by the State Government so that the company does not suffer further losses. The above step taken by the company also comes on back of the high operating losses during the previous seasons, its existing liabilities and lack of adequate resources.
The company has submitted the notices of suspension of operations of all its sugar mills in the state of Uttar Pradesh with the concerned authorities of Government of Uttar Pradesh. Further, the company also submitted a copy of the letter of Simbholi Sugar mill, District Hapur.
Simbhaoli Sugars is an over 75 year old Indian Company, operating three technologically advanced sugar manufacturing facilities in North India and are capable of manufacturing up to 300,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) of sugar.
