Lumax Auto Technologies has received approval for setting up of a new manufacturing plant of Intelligent Ambient Comfort (IAC) division of the company at Chakan, Maharashtra with a capital outlay of around Rs 156.23 crore. This project will cater to the new orders received from Mahindra & Mahindra. The capex will be funded by internal accruals and peak annualized turnover is expected to the tune of around Rs 440 crore post commissioning. The project is expected to be commissioned in two phases, 1st phase by Q4FY2027 and 2nd phase by Q1FY2028.
The Board of Directors at their meeting held on August 10, 2026, have approved the same.
