Apollo Hospitals plans to add 800 beds in FY14

In a bid to expand its network across the country, Apollo Hospitals group is planning to add 800 beds in its existing facilities. With this, the group would become 10,000-bed hospital chain by the end of March 2014. Currently, the group is a 9200-bed hospital chain.

Recently, Apollo Hospitals Group has teamed up with Common Services Centres (CSC), a scheme of the Union Government, to deliver healthcare to rural patients using telemedicine facilities.

Apollo Hospitals, is the leading private sector healthcare provider in Asia and owns and manages a network of speciality hospitals and clinics, a chain of Pharmacy retail outlets across the country, and provides Consultancy Services for commissioning and managing the Speciality Hospitals.
