Minda Corporation has secured approval to make an additional investment of up to Rs 18 crore in its joint venture -- Spark Minda Toyodenso India by way of subscription to 1.80 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each. Spark Minda ToyoDenso India is a joint venture company of the company and Toyo Denso Co., Japan, wherein the company owns a 60% stake and Toyo Denso owns 40%.
The Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held on August 13, 2026, has approved the same. Pursuant to the proposed allotment, the company's total investment in the joint venture will increase to Rs 60 crore, comprising 6 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each.
